Job Overview Welcome to Arvada Foot and Ankle, a small privately owned medical office with a passion for improving the lives of our patients by treating their foot and ankle issues and improving the lives of our employees through rewarding work and respect for a healthy work-life balance. As a member of our team, you'll have the chance to form real relationships with our patients, make a true difference in their health, and have opportunities to grow alongside our practice. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will possess exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail above all else. As you will be working extremely close to our doctor, the ability to anticipate needs and follow through on tasks is very important. Our office utilizes technology to enhance our patient's experience, and so proficiency in computer usage is a must. Salary and Benefits We are looking to fill one full-time position. The schedule for our full-time position is Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm , with a 1 hour lunch break at noon. No weekends. Starting salary is $20 per hour .
Holidays:
All 10 federal holidays are observed and paid. Health insurance after 3 months of employment. 401K match after 1 year of employment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) Tebra Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage cancellations or rescheduling requests with professionalism Collect and process medical copays/patient balances Maintain accurate medical records by filing, updating electronic health records (EHR), and managing health information securely Communicate effectively via phone and in person with patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and vendors while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry using Microsoft Office tools, maintaining office supplies, and supporting clinic operations with clerical experience Experience Prior experience working in a medical office or clinical setting is highly preferred Prior experience entering patient insurance information to Availity, United, Cigna, Medicaid, etc. is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Tebra or similar platforms Knowledge of health insurance processes including claims submission, authorization procedures, and insurance verification Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical documentation review, and health information management practices Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Strong computer skills including typing (10 key typing), filing, and use of Microsoft Office/Adobe/PDF applications Experience in healthcare environments is advantageous Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask in a busy clinic setting
