Job Description

Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Office Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and be comfortable handling phone communication, providing a positive experience for all visitors and callers. No prior dental experience is necessary, as training will be provided; candidates with customer service management or front-of-house hospitality experience or similar settings are encouraged to apply. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the practice Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, scheduling appointments and answering inquiries Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling systems Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming Collaborate with dental staff to support daily operations and patient care Experience Exceptional customer service skills are required; previous experience in front-of-house roles such as hospitality or concierge services is highly valued Strong phone communication abilities are essential for managing patient interactions effectively No prior dental reception experience is necessary; training will be provided to familiarize the candidate with dental office procedures Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with professionalism and attention to detail High critical-thinking skills and the ability to foresee future challenges and take steps to prevent them Friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude are key attributes for success in this role
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
