We are a privately owned, 1 doctor dental practice that takes pride in providing excellent patient care in a friendly, professional, and team-oriented environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, confident communicating with patients, and able to manage multiple front-office responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. What You'll Do Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service Answer phones, assist patients with questions, and manage patient communication Schedule and confirm appointments accurately Maintain an organized and efficient schedule Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Review treatment plans and discuss patient financial responsibilities Collect patient payments and accurately post payments to patient accounts Maintain accurate patient ledgers and account information Maintain accurate and complete patient records Scan and properly document correspondence and records Coordinate referrals and communication with specialists Assist with treatment coordination and other administrative duties Follow established office procedures and HIPAA requirements Work closely with the doctor, hygienists, assistants, and other front-office team members What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Extremely detail-oriented and accurate Dependable and punctual Organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities Comfortable working in a busy dental office Professional and compassionate with patients Confident discussing insurance and financial responsibilities Comfortable collecting patient payments Able to follow established procedures consistently A strong communicator and team player Able to take direction and follow through on assigned tasks Proactive and willing to ask questions when clarification is needed Able to complete tasks thoroughly before moving on to the next responsibility Comfortable taking ownership of mistakes and correcting them appropriately Friendly, professional, and positive
Experience Required:
Previous dental front-office experience Experience with dental insurance and patient accounts Experience with dental scheduling Strong computer and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with dental practice management software (we used cloud based Dentrix Ascend) Experience working in a privately owned dental practice Schedule ( we arrive 20 mins before the day starts to get the office ready and have a short team huddle, we rarely leave past 5:10pm daily)
Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM-5:00
PM Lunch:
12:00 PM-1:00
PM Friday:
