In this role, no medical or CNA license is required. You will serve as a supportive presence and a helping hand for our residents, assisting with non-clinical daily tasks, providing companionship, and helping keep facility operations running smoothly. This is an ideal position for someone who cares deeply about helping others and enjoys spending time with seniors.
Key Responsibilities Call Light Support:
Promptly answer resident call lights to assist with simple, non-medical needs (such as serving a fresh glass of water, fetching a blanket, or opening packages).
Resident Companionship:
Spend one-on-one time talking with residents, answering basic non-clinical questions, and providing reassurance when they have simple concerns.
Appointment Support:
Accompany residents on off-site medical appointments (e.g., dialysis or routine doctor visits) to offer a comforting, attentive presence while they wait.
Front Desk & Reception Duties:
Sit at the front desk, warmly greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, and assist with general administrative needs.
Staff Collaboration:
Help keep resident environments clean and tidy, and immediately alert nursing or CNA staff whenever a resident requires clinical assistance or medical care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). No CNA or medical certification required Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with seniors. Reliable, punctual, and attentive to resident needs. Must be able to pass standard long-term care background checks and screenings. Pay:
$15.50 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 40.0 per week
