Job Description

Southwest Midwives is looking to hire a new team member. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly, organized and excited to be a part of our small practice. The main role of this job would be managing the front desk, greeting patients, scheduling appointments and keeping up with office flow. Depending on experience, this position could include managerial duties. Must be available most weekdays. Schedule is 1-2 days per week with some flexibility depending on the candidate. Ideal candidate would be available on Fridays and have some flexibility to cover other staff member vacations occaisionally. Pay is dependent on experience. Main Duties Include Manage front desk activities and provide exceptional customer service Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments and follow up Coordinate with medical providers to support patient care Skills Required Excellent oral and written communication skills with patient and staff in all areas including administrative, clinic and non-clinical staff Familiarity with medical office operations and terminology Strong organizational skills Experience preferred but not required.
