Job Description
Overview A well-established dental office is seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their dental office by providing exceptional administrative support and customer service.
Pay:
$19+/hr depending on experience- Benefits after 1 year :
- 1 week paid time off
- 3% match on a
SIMPLE IRA
- Free dental for employee and immediate family (lab fees not included)
MUST HAVE
- Familiarity with dental terminology and medical records management (2+ years)
- Checking insurance and sending PAR's are a plus
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist (2+ years)
- Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend (2+ years) Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance information and process patient payments
- Assist with medical administrative tasks to support the dental team Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a huge plus!
- Proficiency in using dental software systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as an urgent care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and staff efficiently
