Are you passionate about providing exceptional service and looking to grow with a dynamic dental practice? Synergy Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry is hiring a full-time Dental Treatment Coordinator/Insurance/Administrative Assistant to be an essential part of our team.
Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for patients, you will be pivotal in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth operation of the front office. If you are charismatic, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and have experience in dental office administration, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries with professionalism Schedule Efficiently, manage, and confirm appointments, following up on cancellations or no-shows Reactivate previous patients and follow up with prospective patients Estimate and provide accurate insurance coverage estimates Submit insurance claims and ensure proper documentation for reimbursements Present Recommended treatment and associated treatment fees, discuss payment options, and assist with financing arrangements Process payments and manage patient accounts with precision Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area Assist in other administrative tasks as needed and be open to cross-training in additional dental office roles
What You'll Bring:
Experience:
Minimum 1 year working in a dental office setting
Skills:
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge:
Familiarity with dental insurance plans (especially PPOs) and dental terminology Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Perks and Compensation:
Competitive pay starting at $25.00 per hour Expected work schedule: 30-36 hours per week Four days a week , with one Saturday a month as needed Potential for an increase in hours as the practice grows In-person work at our Lakewood office How to
