Mountain Eye Partners is an ophthalmology practice in Lone Tree that works with both pediatric and adult patients. We are looking for someone to join our team in a role that covers both the front desk and the clinical side. We will train the right candidate. Because we're a small office, the job spans two areas. Up front you'll check patients in, handle scheduling and insurance, obtain prior authorizations, and answer the phones. In the clinical lane you'll do workups alongside Dr. Singh. This is a full-time position, four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The office is closed Wednesdays. No weekends, no call. What You'll Do Front desk: Patient check-in and check-out Insurance verification and prior authorizations Scheduling for new patients, follow-ups, and surgical consults Answering phones and sorting urgent from routine calls Managing referrals Basic billing and coding support Clinical (we provide training for the right candidate): Visual acuity testing (Snellen chart, near vision) Refraction and lensometry Intraocular pressure measurement (tonometry) Pupil dilation OCT scans and visual field testing Slit lamp exam prep and assisting Taking patient history: medications, allergies, chief complaint Assisting Dr. Singh during exams and minor procedures Helping with pediatric exams What We're Looking For A warm, steady manner with patients, including kids Reliability. In a small team, people count on each other Comfortable learning new software (we use ModMed/EMA, our electronic health record) Authorized to work in the U.S. Helpful, but not required: Background as a medical assistant, dental assistant, vet tech, or in an optometry or medical front office A science background (biology, pre-med, kinesiology, health sciences) and an interest in clinical work If you have a science degree and want to get into healthcare, please apply. We cover your COA certification (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant), and as you take on more we'll help you work toward COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician) down the road. Each step comes with a raise.
