Job Description

Parker Family Care is a busy, patient-focused family practice seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Receptionist to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, this position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment patients walk through our doors. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally and assist with the check-in process. Provide patients with appropriate medical and office forms and ensure forms are completed accurately. Collect co-pays and other payments as needed. Verify and validate insurance information and insurance cards. Notify the appropriate medical assistant/provider when patients arrive. Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Assist with patient check-out and follow-up scheduling. Maintain accurate patient information and documentation. Assist with general administrative and front-office duties as assigned. Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications & Skills Previous medical office or healthcare front-desk experience. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality . Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy, fast-paced medical office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Team player. Professional, friendly, and compassionate approach when interacting with patients. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
Schedule Full-time:
