A New Leaf Therapy is a mental health counseling center in Pueblo that has 60 therapists in seven locations. We provide high quality individual, family, couples and group mental health therapy for all ages. We have a very healthy and positive working environment and a fun, kind, and supportive team! We were voted the best mental healthcare provider for Pueblo in 2025's Best of Pueblo, and the best therapy and counseling in Pueblo in 2026 Pueblo Community Votes. We have also been voted top three best places to work in all of Pueblo for the past five years! We have an administrative support team of six receptionists, two billing specialists, and an office director. We have a fast-paced environment. Job Information Shifts would occur during the hours of Monday through Friday 8-5 with a 60 minute lunch. $17.75 an hour- w2 position with a raise to $18 after 3 months.
Job Duties include the following:
- Professionally communicate with clients by phone and e-mail: match new clients to a therapist, input clients into an Electronic Health Record system, and schedule them on the calendar.
- Manage calendars for therapists and interns.
- Reach out to clients to assist them in completing tasks for the enrollment process.
- Enter client data accurately and thoroughly in an electronic healthcare record and on a variety of spreadsheets.
- Coordinate and handle routine office tasks, like filing, checking clients in, copying, scanning, emailing, sorting mail, etc.
- Assisting billing specialists with things like charging copays, running insurance verification, and client communications related to billing matters.
- Contact clients who did not attend scheduled appointments to reschedule.
- Attend weekly meeting with administrative support staff.
- Conduct attendance audits for scheduled sessions and collaborate with clinicians and clients to find appointments that work well.
- Provide administrative support with a variety of changing daily tasks, working individually and also cohesively with the team.
- Other duties as assigned. We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent customer service skills including being outgoing, friendly and professional- Our customers are very important to us! Sales experience is a plus.
- Excellent skills in technology, computers, and Microsoft Office Programs, including spreadsheets (our interview includes assessment on computer skills)
- Professional demeanor, good social skills, and friendly
- Trustworthy, dependable, punctual, and reliable
- Flexible and adaptable- comfortable with multitasking and doing a variety of tasks, including changing gears quickly
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
- Proficient in verbal and written communication skills, especially through email, chat, and charting.
- Office experience and high school diploma required
