Job Description

Medical Receptionist We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to support a busy clinical environment. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for patients and will work closely with clinical staff to ensure a welcoming patient experience and smooth day-to-day front desk operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with previous experience using Epic .
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
9:30 AM-5:00
PM Friday:
8:30 AM-5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Check patients in and out for appointments. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Answer incoming phone calls and appropriately route messages and inquiries. Verify patient demographic and insurance information. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information within Epic . Assist patients with general questions regarding appointments, paperwork, and clinic processes. Coordinate and communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and other team members. Maintain an organized and efficient front desk area. Handle multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Provide additional front desk and administrative support as needed. Required Qualifications Previous Epic experience required. Strong customer service and patient-facing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, flexible, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Comfortable assisting with a variety of front desk responsibilities based on daily clinic needs. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting . Experience with patient check-in and check-out. Experience scheduling patient appointments and managing calendars. Experience answering and routing calls in a healthcare environment. Familiarity with insurance verification and patient registration. Experience working closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff.
