Job Description
Overview Join my solo practice as a Medical Receptionist In a busy established practice You will manage front desk operations, coordinate patient appointments, and ensure seamless communication between patients and medical community. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify patient insurance coverage, explain billing procedures, and assist with medical collection processes. Handle incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries related to appointments, billing, or medical records Prepare and update patient files, ensuring all medical documentation review and coding are accurate for billing and care plans Support administrative tasks including data entry, typing (10 key), filing medical records, and maintaining office supplies Qualifications Proven experience in a medical office without electronic records. Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance processes, and computer skills Previous dental or clinical clinic experience is desired; familiarity with health insurance knowledge is advantageous.
