Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Phone Operator to join our team. The Phone Operator will be responsible for handling a large volume of incoming calls, accessing patient charts, scheduling appointments, assisting in medical records, and providing excellent customer service in a medical office setting.

Duties:

• Answer and manage incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Schedule appointments accurately using Athena
• Assist callers with inquiries and provide information about services
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
• Transfer calls to appropriate personnel
• Update and maintain medical records as necessary
• indexing and faxing medical records

Requirements:

• Proficiency in phone systems and handling multiple lines
• Familiarity with medical records, medical terminology, and medical office procedures is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a pleasant phone manner
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic cardiology office environment where you can contribute to the well-being of our patients.
