Job Description

Job Overview Pediatric office newly started. Serving Waterford and New London area. We are looking for a part time or full time receptionist, Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day, Saturday half day if interested in over time. Reliable transportation as well as the flexibility to work some day and evening hours is required. You will be the friendly first point of contact for patients, and visitors, ensuring smooth clinic operations and excellent patient service. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records). Schedule patients, answer phone calls. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes including Medicare and health insurance knowledge Requirements Highschool Diploma. Excellent computer skills. No previous administrative assistant and/or receptionist experience is required. It is preferred. Some knowledge of medical terminology. Friendly, professional and courteous demeanor. Excellent communication skills and a strong patient-first mindset. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
