Job Description

Seeking an experienced Automation Controls Technician/Installer for a direct hire position with our client in
Waterford, CT Pay:
$48 - $55 per hour (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Life and disability insurance, and 401(k) Responsibilities Install conduit, low-voltage wiring, and BAS control components. Mount, wire, label, and terminate sensors, relays, actuators, and other control devices. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Assist with system startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and owner training. Prepare as-built documentation. Coordinate work with other trades and attend project meetings as needed. Maintain required licenses and certifications. Follow all safety policies and use required PPE. Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members. Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects efficiently. Work overtime, varied shifts, and travel occasionally as needed. Qualifications Connecticut E2 or L6 License required. High school diploma or technical school certificate preferred. 2-5 years of BAS, controls, or electrical installation experience. Valid driver's license. Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces. Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs. Ability to safely perform physical work while using required personal protective equipment.
