Job Description
Check out our instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cova.dental/?hl=en A dental front desk that feels like a spa. Cova Dental is a modern private practice built around one idea: dental visits should feel calm, personal, and genuinely welcoming. Soft lighting, warm greetings, no rushing, no sales pressure. Patients tell us they actually look forward to coming in — and that starts the moment they walk through the door. We're looking for a Dental Front Desk Coordinator who already knows the dental side and wants to deliver that experience at a higher level than the average office allows. You know the rhythm of a dental schedule, you can talk insurance without flinching, and you understand that how a patient is treated at the front desk shapes everything that happens in the chair. What you'll do Greet every patient warmly by name and set the tone for their visit Answer phones and respond to messages with genuine care — never rushed, never robotic Schedule and confirm appointments, manage recall, and keep the daily schedule full and flowing Check patients in and out and collect payments at time of service Verify dental insurance and track benefits Keep the reception area calm, clean, and inviting — refreshments stocked, ambiance right Follow up with patients after treatment and help them feel looked after between visits Support the clinical team so the day runs smoothly from open to close What we're looking for At least 1 year of dental front office experience (dental receptionist or front desk) Working knowledge of dental terminology, scheduling, and insurance verification A warm, genuinely friendly presence — this matters as much to us as the technical skills Strong communication skills, in person and over the phone Organized and calm under pressure; comfortable juggling a busy schedule Reliable, punctual, and a real team player Comfortable with dental practice management software and quick to learn new systems High school diploma or equivalent You do not need treatment coordinating or case presentation experience — that's something we'll teach you. If you have the dental front office foundation and the right personality, we'll train you on the rest of how we do things here. Room to grow We want someone who's building a career, not filling a seat. You'll be personally trained in treatment coordination — presenting treatment plans, walking patients through financial options, and helping them say yes to the care they need. From there the path continues into insurance and billing and office management as the practice grows. We invest in people who invest in us, and we'd rather promote from within than hire from outside. What we offer $17.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience Free and discounted dental care for you after 6 months Performance bonuses Hands-on training A supportive, drama-free team in a beautiful, modern office Monday-Friday schedule Convenient Cooper City/Davie location — easy commute from
