Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival. Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Verify insurance information and process patient registrations. Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance providers. Prepare and organize patient charts for daily appointments. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus. Proven experience as an OB medical receptionist or in a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction. Familiarity with medical terminology and office software. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient care. Knowledge of insurance processes and billing practices is advantageous.
