Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this essential role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every patient from check-in to check-out. Your energetic approach and exceptional customer service skills will help foster a friendly environment while managing administrative tasks efficiently. You will handle patient scheduling, insurance verification, and maintain accurate dental records using Carestream Practice Works. Your attention to detail and proactive communication will be key in supporting the overall practice operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a caring team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using dental office management software. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility checks Schedule appointments efficiently while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Collect patient information accurately, review medical documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information privacy. Manage medical records, update patient files, and facilitate documentation review for accuracy in Practice Works. Collaborate with practice staff to coordinate treatment plans and facilitate seamless patient flow throughout the practice. Experience Prior experience working in a dental office environment is highly preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology and health information management practices. Excellent computer skills. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Proven customer service skills with a focus on patient service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Experience handling insurance verification, billing procedures, and documentation review within a healthcare setting is advantageous. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
