Duties:

  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's phone system
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims
  • Collect and process patient payments
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns ```
Requirements:
```
  • Previous experience working as a dental receptionist is preferred
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Friendly, calming, and professional demeanor This position requires the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide administrative support in a fast-paced dental office environment.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive patient experience.
