Overview:
Women's Group of North Florida is an established Women's health practice that has been part of the community for many years. We want to make all patients feel welcome and give them the highest level of health care possible. Our services include female health, family planning, menopause care, obstetrics, and gynecological care for patients at all income levels. Our thriving OB/GYN practice is seeking an experienced Front Office Receptionist who can perform administrative duties involved with coordinating patient and physician schedules, as well as bookkeeping, file management, and office organization. We're looking for a professional who believes and who understands the value of compassionate service.
Responsibilities:
Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs yourself Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data Provide patients with intake and new patient forms Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on provider availability Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of college-level coursework Effectively work as a team player Knowledge in OB/GYN is a plus Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance Excellent communication skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience with an electronic health record system
Preferred Qualifications:
Bi-lingual in Spanish and English Experience with Athena EMR system Training in medical billing and coding We are seeking
