Overview We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk Schedule appointments efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system WebPT Verify patient insurance coverage and process medical collections accurately Manage patient records with strict adherence to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and documentation review to ensure accurate claim submission Answer phone calls promptly with professional phone etiquette; direct inquiries appropriately Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and ensure timely updates in EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or other EMR platforms Experience Prior clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred, especially in a front desk or administrative support role Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EMR/EHR management systems Knowledge of health insurance processes including Medicare billing and health information management Experience with medical coding (ICD-10, ICD-9), medical billing, and documentation review processes Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations Demonstrated ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing and maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing efficient administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
