Full-Time or Part-Time Job Summary Blooming Health Medical Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our growing healthcare team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while ensuring the smooth daily operation of the front office. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care. We are looking for an individual who wants to grow with our practice and become an important part of our team. Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and exceptional customer service. Answer and manage incoming phone calls. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using eClinicalWorks (eCW) . Register new patients and update demographic information. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances. Scan, upload, and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR. Process patient check-in and check-out efficiently. Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality. Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Assist with general administrative and clerical duties as needed. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment. Qualifications Previous experience working in a medical office is required . Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is strongly preferred . Experience with patient registration, insurance verification, and copay collections. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred . Preferred Experience Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Multi-Specialty clinic experience. Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
