Full Job Description Medical Receptionist Location:
Largo, FL 33770 Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using EMR system. Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality compliance. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services. Process insurance information and handle billing inquiries. Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers. Required Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with electronic scheduling and patient record systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Experience with insurance processing and billing inquiries is preferred. Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced front office environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus. Bilingual. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred. Familiarity with healthcare terminology and procedures is advantageous.
