Job Description
Front Desk / Medical Office Receptionist If you are an energetic, hard working, multi-tasking individual with computer skills, please apply! Prior Medical office experience is preferred. Full Time Position - At least four days, Mon thru Thursday! And Friday - half day. Medical receptionist role does a little bit of everything but mainly handles the front desk answering phone calls and interacting with both the patients, doctor/ medical assistants. Team work, communication and customer service are a must with this role! Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR, Computer skills and multitasking skills are also a plus! Primary duties will include but are not limited to: Greeting and Check-in / Check-out patients Verifying insurance and collecting co-pays Processing referrals Answering phone calls Ordering office supplies Keeping the reception area/ rooms clean Maintain schedules Scanning, Faxing documents Communication with Patients at all times Qualifications Medical office experience - Preferred Proficiency in computer skills Knowledge of medical administrative support Familiarity with front desk operations Understanding of medical records management Strong clerical and administrative skills Ability to provide excellent patient service Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology
