Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and social skills Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times in accordance with individual needs Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing specialized assistance to foster inclusion and participation Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, practicing first aid and CPR when necessary, and managing behavior effectively Support early childhood education initiatives by creating a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and exploration Qualifications Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school students Prior experience caring for individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged Strong understanding of behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated activity planning skills tailored to children's interests and developmental stages Previous experience in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying or youth programs enhances suitability for this role Join us in creating a joyful environment where every child feels valued and supported!
