Summit Physical is a locally owned, outpatient Physical & Occupational Therapy clinic looking for a friendly front desk specialist to join our team! We are searching for the right candidate that is dedicated to upholding a quality experience for our patients, referral sources and fellow staff. This position is dynamic and team oriented. Must have excellent computer skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Excellent customer service - Must maintain our 5 Star Rating! Warmly greet patients and visitors Assist with Check In and Check Out of patients - collect co-pays and explain healthcare benefits as needed Schedule future patient appointments Proficient in Electronic Management System following training period Verify insurance for patient appointments Register new patients in the Electronic Management System Collect identification and insurance cards and copies or scans them for the medical record Assist referral coordinator with patient referrals Answer phone calls, take messages and make appointments Reliable transportation and ability to travel to our 3 Vlay county clinic locations.

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience with health insurance verification and billing.
