Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Manage appointment scheduling using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, optimizing provider calendars for efficiency. Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and relay messages promptly to healthcare providers. Maintain and update patient records with precision, ensuring compliance with health regulation policies and confidentiality standards. Process health insurance claims, verify coverage details, and communicate billing information clearly to patients. Support medical staff with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and managing correspondence. Assist in coordinating referrals, lab results, and follow-up appointments to ensure seamless patient care continuity. Qualifications Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of health regulation policies and compliance standards relevant to medical practices. Proficiency in Medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling, billing, and insurance processing. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems for managing patient information efficiently. Excellent understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical documentation. Previous dental or healthcare office experience is highly desirable.
