Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Medical Front Desk Specialist to join a chiropractic office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This Contract to permanent position requires someone who can deliver exceptional customer service, build rapport with patients, and assist with scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical office operations and a knack for fostering relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in process efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar to ensure smooth operations.
- Build positive relationships with patients to encourage repeat visits and promote services.
- Handle receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and addressing inquiries.
- Assist patients with understanding service offerings and guide them through appointment booking.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Utilize basic medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to provide a welcoming and detail-oriented environment.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Provide support with administrative tasks as needed. Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build patient relationships.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is necessary.
- Proficiency in general computer skills; familiarity with medical office software is a plus.
- Sales experience or ability to promote services effectively is desirable.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Detail-oriented approach and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Must be comfortable wearing scrubs and adhering to office dress code standards.
