The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions, ensuring smooth administrative operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for the clinic. Perform insurance verification to ensure coverage for services rendered. Maintain accurate patient files and care plans, ensuring all information is up-to-date. Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services and answering questions related to appointments. Assist with coding and billing processes as necessary, ensuring compliance with clinic policies. Collaborate with medical professionals to facilitate patient care and address any administrative needs. Support the overall operations of the clinic by performing additional administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical clinic or hospital setting is preferred. Familiarity with Kareo/Tebra software or similar practice management systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. One year of insurance verification processes and basic coding principles experience is required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
