Summary As a Medical Receptionist at FloRehab Physical Therapy Center in Port Orange location, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. This role is essential in supporting our mission of delivering exceptional quality of care while managing administrative tasks that facilitate smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage the front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff members. Support therapists by preparing necessary documentation for patient care. Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients. Qualifications Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Bilingual skills are advantageous but not required.
