Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for patients, greeting visitors and managing front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy. Schedule appointments efficiently using DENTRIX. Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with health insurance inquiries. Collect and process payments accurately. Review and update patient documentation, ensuring accuracy in medical records. Manage phone communication with patients, providers, and insurance companies using proper phone etiquette to address inquiries promptly. Maintain organized medical records, files, and electronic health records (EHR), adhering to health information management standards. Support clinical staff with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and basic clerical duties utilizing Microsoft Office tools. Assist in medical scheduling and coordinate follow-up appointments to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency. Uphold clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive patient information with integrity. Skills Extensive experience with Dentrix. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation review and administrative support tasks. Excellent customer service skills paired with effective phone communication and office management abilities. Bilingual in Russian is highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred to understand healthcare workflows thoroughly. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, clinical confidentiality policies, and health information management standards. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and data entry.
