We are dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care and outstanding customer service. We believe in treating every pet as our own and strive to ensure every client feels welcomed and valued. We are a small one doctor practice focused on creating a fun and supportive work environment and providing personalized veterinary care to our furry patients. We are open Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am to 4pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday so you may enjoy the weekends with family and friends.
Qualifications:
- Shepherd Veterinary Software experience preferred. We are paperless.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital in a customer service role Required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with computers and experience using veterinary practice management software is required
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- A passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and professional demeanor
- Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries
- Assist clients with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide accurate information about services, procedures, and care instructions
- Maintain and update client and patient records in the database
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle billing questions
- Address client concerns and complaints promptly and empathetically
- Communicate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless client and patient care
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
