Dental Front Desk Receptionist We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front office operations efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental practice. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients with a professional and friendly demeanor. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails and messages promptly. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits. Collect patient information and maintain accurate electronic health records. Process patient check-in and check-out procedures. Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements when needed. Collect co-pays, payments, and outstanding balances. Submit insurance claims and assist with insurance-related questions. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry. Assist with office inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous dental office or medical office experience preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus. Experience with dental practice management software (such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar) preferred. Familiarity with dental insurance verification and billing. Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Preferred Skills Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
