In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks with precision. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all visitors. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary. Obtain accurate information from the patient and ensure all data is collected and complete. Register patients, verify and update patient data in the EMR system. Verify financial records and collect patient copay and/or balances. Ensure balance for all end-of-day financial transactions are posted correctly and balance to all required reports are run daily. Compile charts daily with the required paperwork for the following day. When required, schedule appointments that best meet the patient's needs in adherence to physicians' schedules and availability. Complete orders entered by providers for patient's seen for appointment or that are assigned Qualifications Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment. Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and typing accuracy (10 key typing preferred) Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security
