Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist - Psychiatry Interactive Psychiatry Tampa, FL Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Spanish Customer communication HIPAA English Administrative experience Attention to detail Full Job Description Job Overview Interactive Psychiatry is a growing outpatient psychiatric practice in Tampa, Florida, seeking a professional, dependable, and compassionate Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This is an in-person, part-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (30 hours per week). The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish . Responsibilities Greet and check patients in and out in a warm and professional manner. Answer incoming calls, return messages, and assist patients with general administrative questions. Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage patient appointments. Assist new patients with registration and required forms. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Collect copays, deductibles, and self-pay payments when applicable. Maintain accurate demographic and insurance information in the electronic health record. Scan, upload, and organize patient documents. Assist with referrals, medical records requests, and other administrative tasks. Communicate patient messages to the provider appropriately and promptly. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional front-office environment. Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish required. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. Comfortable using computers and learning electronic health record systems. Ability to multitask and work independently. Previous medical front desk or healthcare office experience preferred. Experience with insurance verification and behavioral health/psychiatry is a plus. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus but not required.
