Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using medical scheduling software
  • Verify patient information and insurance coverage
  • Collect and process patient payments
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
  • Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Epic, Intergy, EClinical Works
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Knowledge of office equipment and phone systems As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
You will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and ensuring a smooth flow of patients through the office.
