In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow and providing exceptional administrative support. Your energetic approach will help create a positive experience for patients from check-in to check-out. You will handle a variety of front desk duties, manage electronic health records, and coordinate with medical staff to facilitate efficient clinic operations. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their insurance coverage, and assist with appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring all documentation review and data entry are completed promptly. Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verification, and process medical billing and collections efficiently. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, respond to patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate care plans with healthcare providers. Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry using Microsoft Office tools, and managing electronic health records (EHR systems) like eClinicalWorks or Dentrix. Experience in similar front desk job is a plus Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role within a clinical or dental setting. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining strict confidentiality. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with dental terminology or hospital experience is a plus. Prior clinic or dental office experience that includes front desk management, appointment scheduling, intake procedures, and multi-line phone operation will set candidates apart.
