Alliance Family Care LLC is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Covington, GA. Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers as needed Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming

Requirements:

Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare front office setting a must knowledgeable in medical terminology, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software. EPIC preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a professional demeanor High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
