Job Description
Medical front office receptionsist We are seeking a professional, pleasant, and energetiic receptionist The right applicant must possess excellent communication and organization skills, eagerness to learn new skills and be a team player. Responsibilities would include, but not limited to; Interact with patients, physicians and other staff within the clinic and at outside facilities providing accurate, timely and responsive information. Interact with other personnel and facilities type correspondence daily cash and insurance checks Coordinate processes and schedule procedures Obtain authorization for testing and medications from patient's insurance company. Verify insurance. Obtain copays and check deductibles Should have knowledge of insurances and able to verify insurances if need arises Manage day to day flow Billing experience is a plus Be able to scribe/call in medications Be able to help in marketing, liason with other practices Requires good communication skills Prerequisites Candidates encouraged to apply have 1. Minimum 2 year experience as a front office receptionist 2 Be able to verify insurances and determine copay and deductibles 3 Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology, 4. Proficiency in EMR is required 5. Bilingual is a plus 6. Willing to undergo background search
