In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing essential administrative tasks. Your expertise will help streamline clinic operations, facilitate accurate documentation, and support efficient patient care delivery. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and possesses excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced medical setting. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Tebra Collect payments and manage medical collections efficiently while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain accurate medical records by updating patient information and reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy Assist with medical billing, coding (including
CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10
), and documentation review to ensure proper reimbursement Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining organized patient files Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and ensure timely patient care delivery Maintain stock supplies and organizing the office. Skills Extensive knowledge of EMR systems Proficiency in medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), medical billing, and health information management Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and phone etiquette Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred to navigate healthcare workflows efficiently Computer literacy is a must Knowledge of hospital experience is a plus for specialized clinics Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Aid in the re-stock and organizing of the office supplies Join us in delivering compassionate healthcare support!
