Overview Join our
NEW DENTAL TEAM
as a Front Desk Receptionist and be the welcoming face of our office! This energetic role is vital in creating a positive patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You will manage patient check-ins, scheduling, and medical records with precision and professionalism. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help ensure smooth daily operations, making a real difference in patients' lives while supporting our mission to deliver exceptional dental care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a friendly and efficient front desk environment Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Open Dental. Collect payments with attention to detail and HIPAA compliance. Manage patient records by reviewing documentation, updating health information management systems, and ensuring confidentiality according to clinical confidentiality policies Answer phone calls promptly with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and coordinating appointment logistics. Being a new office, you will be cross trained and able to give a helping hand to your team. (We all jump in to help out!) Requirements Proven experience in a medical or dental front desk role with strong clerical and administrative skills Familiarity with EHR systems such as Open Dental or similar platforms Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion in accordance with HIPAA regulations Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Multilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations Experience working within a dental clinic or healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory; clinic experience is valued highly Demonstrated organizational skills for managing appointments, medical records, and documentation review processes Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Dental Front Desk Receptionist and become an essential part of delivering compassionate care!

$18.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 26.0 - 32.0 per week
