Position Overview We are seeking a truly exceptional Bilingual (English/Mandarin/Korean for patient communication) Medical Receptionist who is a genuine people person . Key Responsibilities Patient Hospitality:
Welcome patients with genuine warmth, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and heard during check-in and check-out.
Bilingual Care:
Serve as a compassionate bridge for our Korean/Mandarin/English-speaking patients, translating medical scheduling details and forms clearly and gently.
Empathetic Communication:
Answer multi-line phones and handle patient inquiries with patience, kindness, and an understanding tone.
Clinic Workflow:
Coordinate appointment schedules and GI procedures smoothly, working collaboratively with clinical staff without needing constant supervision.
Insurance & Records:
Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and manage electronic health records (EHR) with high accuracy and confidentiality. What We Are Looking For A gentle, empathetic character with a natural gift for customer service and human connection. Fluency in English and K orean or Mandarin is required. Prior medical front-desk experience is highly preferred (Gastroenterology or specialty care experience is a wonderful plus). An independent self-starter who thrives in a trust-based environment and does not need to be micromanaged. Comfort with technology , including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and multi-line phones.
