Process insurance information, including Medicare, and verify patient eligibility. Assist in managing office supplies and equipment to ensure a well-functioning environment. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication. Skills Proficiency in office management practices and procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology is helpful for effective communication. Experience using electronic health record systems is preferred. Strong phone etiquette skills to provide excellent customer service. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
