We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our Care Team! Full-Time shifts, 40 hours a week. As a Medical Receptionist at Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care, you will directly and positively impact the health and well-being of our patients.

You will:

Greet patients warmly and make them feel welcome as soon as they arrive Answer phones with a friendly attitude, address the caller's needs, and direct their inquiry to the appropriate team member. Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficient time management Create patient charts and collect all essential documents privacy notices, consent forms, IDs, and insurance cards Manage patient check- in and patient check-out Call and confirm patient appointments and return all other patient calls as needed Obtain and scan medical records, while maintaining strict confidentiality Keep the office clean and welcoming for all patients Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Front office medical facility experience preferred Benefits (Total Compensation Package) Competitive compensation Generous 401K Short- & long-term disability insurance Basic life insurance Paid time off PTO Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care DPC Membership Optional health, dental and vision coverage Work Compensation Starting pay: $18 per hour, based upon experience Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
