Job Description

Vivid Prosthodontics is looking for a front desk administrator! Are you currently an assistant who loves dentistry, but wants to try a different role? This is for you! •Our ideal candidate would be someone who is a current or previous dental assistant looking to switch to a front desk role. We are a small dental office, so cross training is a must! If someone is absent, you will be asked to step in and assist if needed•Applicant must have knowledge of basic dental terminology and procedures, experience with dental software (Dentrix Ascend preferred, but not required), an understanding of dental insurance, great communication skills and a willingness to help people! Willing to negotiate pay based on experience. Hours are Monday 8:30-4 pm, Tuesday-Friday 7:50-5. Paid Vacation, sick time and holidays, 401k with match, and uniform budget included.
Duties include the following:
Answer phones in a positive and inviting way Schedule and coordinate patient appointments over phone and in-person Confirm Appointments. Collect payments and down payments Communicating with other dental offices to coordinate patient care/entering correspondences from other offices. Maintain accurate patient records. Importing/exporting patient paperwork and records. Filing insurance claims and taking/processing insurance claims. Help maintain office flow/organization Occasional back office work (assisting, sterilization, etc)
