Our mission is to empower women through comprehensive and compassionate care in a supportive environment. Summary We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Women's Health Associates. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for managing appointments and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our commitment to women's health. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment. Answer incoming phone calls and direct to the appropriate department. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations efficiently. Verify patient insurance information. Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Assist with documentation review and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed. Provide clerical support as needed, including answering phones and responding to inquiries. Requirements Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with medical software (eCW experience is a plus). Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
