Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Specialist to join our healthcare team. This vital role requires a professional with excellent communication skills, strong administrative capabilities, and a thorough understanding of dental office operations. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient intake, and insurance processing while ensuring a welcoming and efficient office environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care through exceptional front desk support and administrative excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures, ensuring a smooth patient experience. Manage patient scheduling including scheduling, rescheduling and confirming appts. Verify patient insurance coverage, process claims and manage aging claims. Collect and review patient documentation, including medical history forms, and consent forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness Handle phone communication professionally, providing excellent customer service while addressing patient inquiries about appointments, billing, or insurance. Check patients in and out, collect payments, and review treatment estimates Confirm appointments and manage recalls and unscheduled treatment to support patient scheduling. Support clinic operations by performing clerical tasks such as data entry, typing, filing. Uphold clinical confidentiality policies and adhere to all healthcare regulations related to medical records and health information management. Assist with intake procedures for new patients and coordinate follow-up appointments as needed. Previous dental front office experience preferred(1+year). Experience with dental practice software such as eaglesoft, dentrix or similar.

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
