This position reports directly to the Clinic Administrator and Infusion Leadership and plays a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for our infusion patients while supporting the daily operations of one of the region's busiest rheumatology infusion centers. Primary Responsibilities Welcome and check in infusion patients Verify insurance eligibility and prior authorization status Review and validate prior authorizations for accuracy before treatment Coordinate and fax infusion referrals and physician orders to outside infusion centers when appropriate Assist with administrative and scheduling tasks that support efficient infusion operations Communicate professionally with patients, providers, infusion centers, and insurance companies Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Highly organized and detail-oriented Dependable and self-motivated Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy Passionate about providing exceptional service to patients and teammates Previous medical office, insurance verification, referral coordination, or prior authorization experience is preferred but not required.
