We will are willing to train the right person We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist/ Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help streamline patient flow, coordinate appointments, and support the delivery of exceptional dental care. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at the front desk Assist Dentist with duties including four handed dentistry Sterilize instruments, inventory, upkeep of clinic Follow proper protocol when treating patients Showing up in timely manner 30 mins before first patient is scheduled to prepare for days procedure Assist dentist with cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions, implants, etc. Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing using systems like Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth Collect patient information, update medical records, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly Assist with medical billing and coding tasks including

CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10

coding, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain organized filing systems for dental records and medical documentation in accordance with health information management standards Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical setting with dental office experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and office procedures Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms like Meditech or Epic Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and typing skills including 10 key data entry Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in compliance with HIPAA guidelines Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior experience with insurance verification, medical billing, medical coding (ICD & CPT), and documentation review is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient schedules and medical records Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing top-tier administrative support in a friendly and energetic environment!

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
