Front Desk & Clinical Support - Optometry Office ⭐ DeKalb Optometric | DeKalb, IL DeKalb Optometric is a locally owned, multi-doctor optometry practice serving the DeKalb community for over 70 years. We are a well-established practice that values professionalism, accountability, and reliability in a busy healthcare setting. We are seeking a reliable, long-term team member who understands that consistent attendance and teamwork are essential to success in this role. Strong performance depends on being present, prepared, and dependable on a daily basis. About the
Role:
This position may include front desk, clinical, optical, or cross-trained responsibilities depending on experience and practice needs. Training is provided on the job , with expectations learned through daily work and practice routines. Employees typically work 5 days per week Due to patient demand and business needs, some weeks may require up to 6 working days, including Saturdays Staff shifts extend beyond posted patient hours and include opening and closing responsibilities Because this is a hands-on, patient-facing role, consistent attendance is a core job requirement . This role also requires availability for scheduled Saturdays, which are a regular and essential part of our patient schedule. Reliable attendance on Saturdays is expected. What Matters in
